November 27, Fineko/abc.az. The European Commission is preparing amendments that will simplify the submission and approval of chemical and biological pesticides, as well as feed additives.

ABC.AZ reports that the reason is the shortage of active ingredients and the recent decision of the European Court of Justice, which required a review of the renewal of the glyphosate permit.

To reduce uncertainty for farmers and companies, the EC proposes to introduce indefinite approval of new active ingredients if they do not pose a high risk.
