October 31, Fineko/abc.az. To date, companies from China, India, Russia, Israel, Turkey and other countries have been registered in the Alat Free Economic Zone.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting FEZ’s chairman of board Valekh Aleskerov, that four of them are already carrying out construction work, and two companies will begin production of the agreed output by the end of this year.

"The rest of the companies are also under construction, and their production activities are to begin in the coming years," he said.

 Aleskerov added that one of the main attractive advantages of the Alat FEZ is complete absence of taxes and customs duties: "Companies operating here do not pay any taxes and customs duties.".
