October 7, Fineko/abc.az. As of October 1, 2025, the number of employment contracts in Azerbaijan increased by 466,613 contracts compared with early 2019, reaching 1,868,528.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Tax Service that since the beginning of 2019, the number of employment contracts in the non-oil private sector has grown by 471,286 up to 1,011,208 contracts.

More than 54% of the employment contracts accounted for the non-oil private sector. In the first 9 months of 2025, the bulk of the increase (28,000) recorded in the non-oil private sector accounted for services, trade and construction.
