September 19, Fineko/abc.az. Women entrepreneurs are provided with sufficient opportunities in the legislation.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Sakina Babayeva, chairwoman of the Board of the Association for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship of Azerbaijan, that in order to effectively use the opportunities, women need educational trainings on taxes, customs, economic rights, as well as support in manufacturing, branding, digitization and entering international markets. Government subsidies, banking support, and integration into international platforms play a major role. Overcoming difficulties with exports and returning the currency to the country are also important issues.

Babayeva noted that women entrepreneurs are most active in advertising and marketing, tourism, medicine and healthcare, industry, agriculture, as well as in technology and start-ups.

"Thus, women entrepreneurs are already strengthening their positions not only in the traditional, but also in the innovative and technological fields. The support of their activities is important from the point of view of economic and social development of Azerbaijan," Babayeva summed up.
