September 19, Fineko/abc.az. Sakina Babayeva, chairwoman of the Board of the Association for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, said that Azerbaijan will submit to the European Union a three-year strategic plan aimed at developing women's entrepreneurship.
ABC.AZ reports that cooperation with the EU and implementation of joint projects are also on agenda:
"The key issue here is not to grant women additional privileges, but to ensure that they operate on equal terms with male entrepreneurs. There is equality between women and men in Azerbaijani legislation, and discrimination is not accepted."
She noted that it is important to psychologically empower women entrepreneurs, change subconscious stereotypes and improve digital skills.:
"The rapid development of digitalization, artificial intelligence and new technologies is displacing many traditional industries. That's why it's so important for women to acquire digital knowledge and adapt to business models run from home."
