Central bank issues a new mandatory decree against three currency exchange points

September 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank has taken action against several currency exchange companies.

ABC.AZ informs that the regulator announced this in its decision published in September.

According to the CBA, the reports that should have been submitted by Meta-Kapital LLC, Delta Capital LLC and Money Shop LLC by the end of August were not submitted to the Central Bank within the time period stipulated by law. In this regard, the companies were given a mandatory instruction.

The CBA states that these steps were taken in accordance with the requirements of the Procedure for conducting transactions by persons who have received a license for currency exchange activities and control over these activities.

Earlier, strict measures were applied against Meta-Kapital LLC and Delta Capital LLC, which are currency exchange offices. The licenses issued to these companies were suspended for 1 month from 28 August 2025 due to violation of the requirements. The companies suspended their activities for an appropriate period.
