September 5, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, the profit of agricultural enterprises in Azerbaijan amounted to 337.6 million manats. ABC.AZ reports, citing the State Statistics Committee, that this figure is 53 million manats or almost 19% more than a year earlier. The loss amounted to 24.7 million manats, which means a decrease compared to 2023.

Thus, the total profit of agricultural enterprises amounted to 312.9 million manats.

The sector's sales revenue grew year on year and reached 1.36 billion manats in 2024. This is approximately 2.4 times more than in 2018.

In 2024, profit from crop production amounted to 168.6 million manats, and from livestock farming to 149.1 million manats. For comparison, the share of livestock farming has increased significantly in recent years: if in 2020 the profit of this industry amounted to only 27.2 million manats, in 2024 it had already grown to 149.1 million manats. The volume of agricultural products, measured in actual selling prices, peaked in 2023 and amounted to 1.63 billion manats. And in 2024, this figure dropped to 1.32 billion manats.
