August 29, Fineko/abc.az. The total volume of production in the city of Sumgayit in the elapsed period of 2025 increased 6 times compared to 2015 – from 850 million manats to 5.1 billion manats.

According to ABC.AZ, industrial production increased 8 times, reaching 4 billion manats. The average monthly salary over these years rose from 400 to 850 manats. Investments in fixed assets tripled – from 140 million manats to 420 million manats.

In addition, there has been population growth – from 336,000 people in 2015 to 428,000 people in 2025. Employment increased from 100,000 to 190,000 people. The number of industrial enterprises also rose significantly: if 124 enterprises were operating in 2015, in 2025 their number reached 327. Annual per capita income increased from 3,400 manats in 2015 to 5,600 manats in 2025.
