Eurozone economy unexpectedly grew by 0.1% for Q2

July 30, Fineko/abc.az. The eurozone economy grew by 0.1% q/q in the 2nd quarter, which came as a surprise to most analysts who expected the indicator to remain unchanged, ABC.AZ reports, referring to CNBC.

A quarter earlier, eurozone GDP increased by 0.6% q/q.

At the same time, Capital Economics experts note that the slowdown in eurozone GDP growth in the 2nd quarter was expected amid the introduction of duties. In general, analysts say, the data suggests that the eurozone is still resistant to changes in U.S. trade policy.
