July 4, Fineko/abc.az. As of July 1, 2025, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 1.7% compared with the beginning of the year and amounted to 820,900.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service that in the first 6 months of 2025, the number of active VAT-payers grew by 5.2% up to 55,600 and the number of active business entities (facilities) by 4% up to 226,100.
