June 21, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan’s strategic location is a key advantage for Korean manufacturers looking to expand into surrounding regions.

ABC.AZ reports that Valeh Alasgarov, the chairman of the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) Authority, made the above-said statement in an interview with The Korea Herald.

He acknowledged growth of trade ties between S Korea and Azerbaijan but says industrial cooperation with Korea — particularly in manufacturing - remains underdeveloped.

Alasgarov expressed a hope that Korea, with its advanced industrial capabilities, would become a key partner.
