May 30, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 24 hours, more than 5,000 manats were stolen from the bank cards of Azerbaijani citizens using various methods.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs that among the cases - theft in the amount of 2 250, 1 200, 1 145, 350, 170, 155, 80, 58, 50 and 25 manats.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded that CVV/CVC codes, as well as OTP codes received via SMS, are confidential data. Transferring them to outsiders can lead to the loss of both your own funds and the issuance of loans in the name of the cardholder.

Citizens were urged not to believe dubious offers related to making a profit, insurance, visa support or banking transactions. All such calls and messages should be blocked immediately.
