April 14, Fineko/abc.az. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the transfer of authority to create and regulate agricultural parks from the Ministry of Economy to the Ministry of Agriculture.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the decree, the Ministry of Agriculture will be responsible for measures on development and management of agricultural parks (with the exception of the pilot agricultural park in Yevlakh).

Within six months, the Ministry must approve the necessary regulations in accordance with the "Model Regulation on Agricultural Parks" approved in 2021 and ensure compliance with the provisions of the new decree. The Ministry of Economy, in turn, will take measures to transfer the relevant powers.

In addition, the Agricultural Research Center under the Ministry of Agriculture will be authorized to issue certificates of agricultural park residents, with the exception of the agricultural park established by the Ministry of Economy in Yevlakh district.
