April 9, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Wednesday’s trading after decrease in the previous session.

The price of Brent crude oil futures for June on the ICE Futures exchange fell by $2.49 (3.96%) to $60.33 per barrel by 09:27. Following the trading on April 8, June’s Brent crude futures dropped by $1.39 (2.16%) to $62.82 per barrel.

The price of May’s WTI crude oil futures at the NYMEX commodity exchange declined by $2.59 (4.35%) to $56.99 per barrel by 09:27. Following the trading on April 8, WTI crude oil futures for May decreased in price by $1.12 (1.85%), to $59.58 per barrel.

Since the beginning of the year, oil prices have slumped more than by 20%.
