March 6, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization (AZSTAND) has established a new Technical Committee for Standardization “Industrial Safety” (AZSTAND/TK 50).
ABC.AZ was informed at AZSTAND that this Technical Committee was established to involve stakeholders in development of state standards in the field of industrial safety in the implementation of the action plan "State Program for bringing the national standardization system in line with international requirements for 2023-2025".
The activity of the chairmanship and the secretariat of the Technical Committee will be organized by the State Agency for the Safe Conduct of Industrial Work and Mining Supervision of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Representatives of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan, the State Fire Supervision Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Main Directorate of the State Traffic Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also participate in the activities of the Technical Committee.
