January 28, Fineko/abc.az. Budapest has the opportunity to put pressure on Ukraine if it turns out that it is slowing down with the restart of gas transit from Russia.

ABC.AZ informs, quoting Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto, that the European Commission is negotiating with Kiev on the resumption of transit of Russian gas to Europe.

The EC has made it clear that the integrity of the energy infrastructure supplying the EU member states is a matter of security for the entire European Union.
