December 24, Fineko/abc.az. A delegation from the Turkish Ministry of Energy will visit Syria soon to discuss possible energy cooperation, including electricity transmission to eliminate electricity shortages, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar.

Earlier it was reported that Israel and the U.S. would try to prevent the Arab republic from becoming Ankara's springboard, and the new Syrian authorities announced Qatar's readiness to invest in development of country's energy sector.
