Azerbaijan exported aluminum for $182.689 million for 11 months

December 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2024, Azerbaijan exported 67,712 tons of aluminum for $182.689 million.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee that aluminum exports increased by $2.669 million or 1.5% in value terms against Jan-Nov 2023 and declined by 1,146 tons or 1.7% in quantitative terms.

And in 11 months of 2023, the country exported 68,857 tons of aluminum for $180.2 million.

The average export price of 1 kg of aluminum exported by Azerbaijan during this period was 4.59 manats. Over the same period of 2023, this figure reached 4.44 manats (a rise of 0.14 manats or 3.2% year-on-year).

This year, aluminum accounted for 0.75% of total exports, while the non-oil sector - about 5.91%.
