December 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2024, Azerbaijan exported 113,981 tons of cotton fiber for $169.965 million.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Customs Committee, that cotton fiber exports grew by $58.612 million in value terms or by 52.6% in value terms up to 51,530 tons or by 81.1% against Jan-Nov 2023.

And in 11 months of 2023, the country exported 62,928 tons of cotton fiber for $111.353 million.

The average export price of 1 kg of cotton fiber exported by Azerbaijan was 2.53 manats for Jan-Nov 2024 and 3 manats for Jan-Nov 2023 (a drop of 0.47 manats or 15.7% versus the 2022 same term).
This year, cotton fiber made up 0.70% of total exports, and the non-oil sector – nearly 5.50%.
