December 16, Fineko/abc.az. The UAE's largest oil producer, Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (Adnoc), has signed an agreement on the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) with German energy company EnBW Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg AG.

ABC.AZ reports that the agreement stipulates annual supply of 600,000 tons of LNG over 15 years, starting in 2028, Bloomberg informs.

This agreement is part of Europe's efforts to ensure a continuous supply of fossil fuels, despite attempts to switch to cleaner energy sources. Earlier, in November, Adnoc signed the first agreement on the sale of 1 million tons of LNG per year to German company SEFE. Germany is actively increasing LNG imports and maritime supplies after restricting Russian pipeline gas supplies.
