As a result of our recent efforts, for Jan-Oct 2024, Azerbaijan's trade turnover with the Turkic states amounted to $6.1 billion, and the volume of exports - $3.5 billion, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Sevil Yahyaeva, advisor to the executive director of the Export & Investment Promotion Agency.
She noted that from 1995 to 2023, more than $16 billion was invested in the economy of Azerbaijan from the Turkic states. «We sign agreements with all Turkic states on promotion and protection of investments. It also creates a basis for further strengthening the contractual and legal framework, forms non-oil/gas exports under brand Made in Azerbaijan through introduction of an export incentive mechanism within the trade promotion mandate. I’d like to note that this year our exporters took part in 10 international exhibitions, which were attended by 68 domestic companies. During the exhibitions, contracts for export activities for $18 million were signed. This February, alibaba.com and AZPROMO signed an agreement on mutual understanding," Yahyaeva added.
