 November 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Oct 2024, 41.5 bcm of natural gas were produced in the country.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Energy that 10.9 bcm of gas were produced at Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, 22.9 bcm at Shah Deniz, 1.3 bcm at Absheron, 6.4 bcm by SOCAR. Gas production grew by 1.4 bcm compared with Jan-Oct 2023.

Gas sales abroad for Jan-Oct 2024 totaled 20.7 bcm (4.6% more versus Jan-Oct 2023). 10.6 bcm of gas were sold to Europe, 8.2 bcm to Türkiye and 1.9 bcm to Georgia. During this time, 4.7 bcm of gas were supplied to Türkiye via TANAP.

Since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and Shah Deniz fields until November 01, 2024, 646.6 million tons of oil (together with gas condensate) and 459.2 bcm were produced.

Production at Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli reached 598.7 million tons of oil and 227.3 bcm of gas and at Shah Deniz - about 47.9 million tons of condensate and 231.9 bcm of gas.

644.7 million tons of oil and 165.8 bcm of gas were exported from these fields until November 01, 2024.
