August 22, Fineko/abc.az. The implementation of joint projects in the mining industry is another area of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. Both countries possess a colossal base of raw material resources.

As reported by ABC.AZ, within the framework of the Uzbek-Azerbaijani business forum, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, noted that Uzbekistan is ready to develop mineral resources in Azerbaijan, including setting up the production of construction materials for further use in restoration work in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

According to him, cooperation in the energy and oil and gas industries has gained good momentum. The parties are working on a project for the production of green energy and its further export through Azerbaijan to European countries.
