July 26, Fineko/abc.az. Croatia’s purchases of Azerbaijani crude oil observed growth in the past half of 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that in 6 months of 2024, Croatia bought 587,600 tons of crude oil from Azerbaijan for $375.98 million (90% more in quantitative terms and 109% more in value terms versus Jan-Jun 2023).

Over Jan-Jun 2023, Croatia purchased 308,500 tons of crude oil from Azerbaijan for $180.25 million.

Prices this year were higher than last year. So, if last year a ton cost $584 (~$77 /barrel), then in 2024 prices increased by $56, to $640 per ton (~$84.02 /barrel).
