July 2, Fineko/abc.az. Although deflation in Uzbekistan was 0.2%, annual inflation rose to 10.6%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the National Statistical Agency of Uzbekistan.

In June, food prices decreased by an average of 1.8%, non-food products increased by 0.8%, and the cost of paid services to the population increased by 0.9%. Rental housing increased by 0.7% per month and by 9.5% per year.

Drug prices continued to rise (1.4%), while (after the abolition of VAT benefits) prices for inpatient treatment and rehabilitation services grew by 4.2%.

In June, the cost of railway transport services in the republic increased by an average of 1.8%, air transportation for the month rose by 0.2%, and tourist trips - by 1.6%.
