March 28, Fineko/abc.az. Personnel reshuffle has been made in the management of SOCAR production association Azneft.

ABC.AZ reports that Shahmar Huseynov has been relieved of the post of CEO of this software and appointed advisor to the SOCAR president. Huseynov has been the head of Azneft since December 2019.

Now Azneft is headed by 56-year-old Ali Gurbanov, who previously led the representative office of the operating company for Umid Babek block of deposits.

Gurbanov worked at SOCAR in various positions in 1991-1998. In 1998, he worked at BP, and returned to SOCAR in 2011.

Azneft is responsible for oil and gas production from oil & gas production departments.
