February 13, Fineko/abc.az. The names of products that became more expensive and cheaper in January 2024 compared with last month were made public.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee that increase was recorded on prices of rice, lamb and chicken, fresh fish, milk, eggs, olive oil, tangerines, lemons, bananas, apples, pomegranates, cucumbers, tomatoes, pumpkin, garlic, onions, potatoes, carrots, sugar, sweets, fruit juice, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products.

The decline in prices was mainly observed for semolina and buckwheat, flour, bread, beef, table margarine, sunflower and corn oils, oranges, beets, granulated sugar.

No significant changes were registered on prices of other food products. The consumer price index for non-food products in January 2024 made up 100.1% compared with the previous month.
