January 30, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2023, Azerbaijan imported 17,211 tons of sweet dry biscuits from foreign countries for $37.217 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the indicator is $6.212 million or 20% more in value terms and by 1,982 tons or 12.6% more in quantitative terms versus Jan-Nov 2022. Our country imported 15,729 tons of dried biscuits for $31.4 million for Jan-Nov 2022.

The import price per ton of cookies was $2,101 for 11 months of 2023 and $1,971 for the same period of 2022.

Last year, prices increased by $130 (6.6%). In general, the import of 1 kg of biscuits cost 3.57 manats for Jan-Nov 2023 and 3.35 manats for Jan-Nov 2022.
