January 11, Fineko/abc.az. From January to November 2023, potatoes were harvested from an area of 49,448.5 hectares out of 49,475.5 hectares of acreage, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee. Thus, the potato harvest area is 5,327.2 hectares or 9.7% less than in 2022. The harvest area was 99.9% of the sown area.

Over Jan-Nov 2022, potatoes were harvested from an area of 54,775 hectares. The weight of potatoes from cultivated areas reached 995,916.4 tons (56,340.9 tons, or 5.4% less than a year ago). From January to November 2022, 1,052,257 tons of potatoes were harvested. And the weight of potatoes harvested from each hectare amounted to 201.4 quintals (9.3 quintals, or 4.8% less than in a year).

For the first 11 months of 2022, the yield amounted to 192.1 quintals per hectare.
