January 11, Fineko/abc.az. ING Group (The Netherlands) predicts that the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan will be 5% in 2024 and 5.6% in 2025, ABC.AZ reports, referring to company's message.

This is 1 p.p. less for this year compared with the forecast published in August 2023, and has not changed for the next year.

According to forecasts, in the 1st quarter of 2024, the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan is expected to reach 6.2%, and in the 2nd quarter - 2.6%.

Economy Minister assumes that annual inflation in the country will be 5.3% in 2024 and 4.9% in 2025.

According to the UN forecasts, the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan this year will be 5.9%, and in 2025 it will decrease to 3.9%.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicts that the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan will decrease to 4.7% this year, and will reach 5% in 2025.
