Azerbaijan did not import oil from Central Asian countries in August and September

December 13, Fineko/abc.az. In August, September and October 2023, Azerbaijan did not import a single barrel of oil from Central Asian countries.

ABC.AZ reports that in the first 7 months of this year, Azerbaijan purchased a total of 551,680 tons of crude oil from Turkmenistan for $317.54 million.

Over Jan-Jul 2023, our country bought 62,110 tons of oil for $30.43 million from Kazakhstan.

For Jan-Jul 2022, Azerbaijan imported 180,220 tons from Turkmenistan and 95,630 tons of crude oil from Kazakhstan, the State Statistics Committee informs.

KazTransOil, the Kazakh national operator of the main oil pipeline, reported that in 11 months of 2023, the export of Kazakh oil from the port of Aktau reached 3.62 million tons (1.14 million tons, or 50% more against Jan-Nov 2022).
