November 15, Fineko/abc.az. India exported goods and services for more than $62 billion in October, which exceeded last year's figures for the same period more than by 9%, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ministry of Industry & Trade of India.
"Exports of goods in October 2023 increased by 6.21% and amounted to $33.57 billion compared with $31.60 billion in October 2022," the Indian Ministry of Industry & Trade said.
As for the export of services, from April to October of this year it is estimated at $192.6 billion. In the same period of 2022, this figure was $181 billion (a rise of over 6%), the Ministry said.
In addition, the reduction of the overall trade deficit from April to October of this year indicates a positive trend in Indian trade. It is expected to decrease by 35.8%, from $89.8 billion in 2022 to $57.6 billion in 2023.
