November 7, Fineko/abc.az. The trade turnover between Russia and China grew by 27.7% year-on-year for Jan-Oct, reaching $196.48 billion, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Chinese General Administration of Customs.
As follows from the published data, China’s exports to Russia increased by 52.2% in 10 months and amounted to about $90.08 billion. Imports of Russian goods grew by 12.4% to $106.4 billion. Thus, Russia's surplus reached $16.32 billion, having decreased by about 53% compared with the 2022 same term.
In October alone, trade volume between the two countries totaled $19.79 billion, a decrease of 9% against September. Imports from Russia on a monthly basis decreased by 3.7% to $11.1 billion, China's exports fell by 10.2% to $8.69 billion.
