Oil price goes up, and Brent is at $85.34 a barrel

November 6, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are rising in Monday’s trading after last week’s sharp decline.

The price of January’s Brent crude oil futures at the London ICE Futures exchange increased by $0.45 (0.53%) to $85.34 per barrel by 09:26. Following the trading on November 3, Brent crude futures for January fell by $1.96 (2.26%) to $84.89 per barrel.

The price of WTI crude oil futures for December on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:26 rose by $0.54 (0.67%) to $81.05 per barrel. Following the trading on November 3, the price of December’s WTI oil futures declined by $1.95 (2.36%) to $80.51 per barrel.

At the end of last week, Brent lost 4.83% in price and WTI - 5.88%.
