November 2, Fineko/abc.az. Amendments have been made to the legislation on the provision of benefits for customs duties and VAT in respect of intermediate food products imported and used in domestic production as part of the minimum consumer basket and covering a specific area, as well as a number of machinery and equipment, which will come into force from the beginning of 2024.
ABC.AZ informs that this is reported in the presentation of the draft state and review budgets for 2024.
According to the assessment carried out through the centralized electronic registry system "On benefits provided in the tax & customs sphere", in 2022 the amount not accrued to the State Budget in connection with benefits and exemptions for taxes and customs duties amounted to AZN 7.6 billion. Of them, AZN 5.85 billion accounted for domestic operations, and AZN 1.778 billion for import operations. Based on the results of the assessment of impact of the provided benefits and exemptions in the tax and customs sphere on State Budget revenues for 2020-22, draft amendments to regulatory legal acts in the tax and customs sphere have been prepared.
