September 18, Fineko/abc.az. The trade turnover between Russia and the United States fell 11-fold.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the U.S. Census Bureau, this July trade turnover between Russia and the United States amounted to $277.3 million (the lowest record since the beginning of 2000),

The report also indicates that three commodity groups remain the main share of Russian exports to the United States: nuclear fuel, mineral fertilizers and platinum group metals.

For seven months of 2023, the United States purchased goods from Russia for a total amount of about $ 3 billion. However, in July of this year, Russian exports to the United States decreased to $277.3 million, reaching the lowest value since 2000.

Compared with the data of February 2022, prior to the imposition of sanctions against Russia, trade turnover between the Russian Federation and the United States in July 2023 was 11-fold lower.

In addition, this indicator decreased almost 13-fold versus July 2021.
