Retail trade of private entrepreneurs up 4%

The cost of goods sold by business entities of the non-state sector in January-July of the current year increased by 3.1% from the same period last year, up to 99.7% of the total retail turnover.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that compared to January-July 2022, the retail trade turnover in January-July 2023 increased by 0.9% for enterprises, by 4% for individual entrepreneurs and by 3.8% for markets and fairs.

During the reporting period, per capita purchases of food, drinks and tobacco products in the retail network made AZN 437.9 and the per capital purchases of non-food products amounted to AZN 246.9 monthly.
