This year, budget revenues are envisaged at AZN 43 bn

August 1, Fineko/abc.az. The revenues of the revised review budget for 2023 are projected at AZN 43.6 bn (AZN 10.34 bn, or 30.4% more than the originally approved figure).

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the Finance Ministry’s Certificate on the semi-annual execution of the state and consolidated budgets for 2023 and the document on expectations for the end of the year.

The expenses of the consolidated budget for the current year are projected at AZN 41.269 bn (AZN 3.3 bn, or 8.7% more than the originally approved figure), and AZN 6.196 bn or 17.7% more than the 2022 executive figure. Initially, the consolidated budget was projected with deficit of AZN 4.943 bn, but with revision, surplus of AZN 1.79 bn is expected due to additional budget revenues of AZN 6.7 bn.
