July 21, Fineko/abc.az. India and Japan have signed an agreement on cooperation in the development and production of semiconductors.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to Indian news agency The Economic Times.
The parties agreed on the design, production, research of equipment and strengthening of the supply chain by the Memorandum of Understanding signed in Indian capital New Delhi by the Minister of Electronics & Information Technology of India and the Minister of Economy & Trade of Japan.
Noting that the semiconductor industry will grow from $650 million to $1 trillion, Indian Minister of Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnav said that this marks significant growth in many parts of the world, and the two countries can become pioneers in this matter.
