July 21, Fineko/abc.az. So far, 131 business entities with combined investments for AZN 7.18 bn ($4.2 bn) have been granted residency in industrial zones of Azerbaijan, and 68 (52%) of them have commenced production activity.

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote about this on his Twitter account.

He added that over AZN 6.56 bn ($3.9 bn) have already been invested in industrial zones, creating more than 10,600 permanent jobs. The next phase of existing projects aims to invest AZN 616 million ($362.4 million) in industrial zones, with the goal of generating over 4,800 new job opportunities.
