July 12, Fineko/abc.az. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received Speaker of the Great National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmuş, ABC.AZ reports üith reference to the Presidential Administration.

Kurtulmuş conveyed greetings of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the Azerbaijani leader.

President Aliyev thanked for the greetings and asked to convey his greetings to Turkish counterpart.

The head of state once again conveyed congratulations on the victory in the presidential and parliamentary elections held in Turkey.

It was noted with satisfaction at the meeting that friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are successfully developing in all areas, including in the inter-parliamentary sphere. It was noted that Numan Kurtulmuş’s will contribute to development of bilateral relations.

During the conversation, the importance of further strengthening the Organization of Turkic States, strengthening cooperation in the format of this organization and TURKPA was stressed.
