July 12, Fineko/abc.az. Advertising of energy drinks in sports programs is unacceptable. An energy drink cannot be a sponsor of the program, just as advertising of alcohol and cigarettes is prohibited.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency’s chairman Goshgar Tahmazli stated about at a press conference devoted to the fulfillment of the Law on Food Safety in the 1st half of 2023.

"This creates conditions for the promotion of a product that is dangerous to human health. Sometimes nutritionists also present incorrect and unhealthy types of diets. We will have a special project in connection with the promotion of healthy eating. The population will be explained what a healthy diet should be. We observe that the population, in particular the younger generation, prefers unhealthy food," Tahmazli noted.
