July 5, Fineko/abc.az. The data on the construction of alternative road Baku-Guba has been published.

Anar Najafli, the press secretary of the State Agency of Highways of Azerbaijan, has commented for ABC.AZ about progress of construction work on this road. He said that the process is currently ongoing.

Stating that the construction of the road will be fully completed by the end of this year, the Agency said that it does not know about the date of commissioning of the road:

"If everything goes in accord with the plan, the work on the road will finish by the end of 2023. But it is difficult to talk about the date of commissioning of the road now."

This road will be the first toll road in Azerbaijan.
