June 19, Fineko/abc.az. The European division of The Coca-Cola Company Coca-Cola HBC intends to acquire the Finnish subsidiary of Dutch company Brown-Forman, which owns vodka brand Finlandia.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Swiss "daughter" of The Coca-Cola Company.

The purchase amount will be $220 million. The implementation of this transaction should be completed "in the 2nd half of 2023" and will allow the Swiss company to "diversify [the production and sale] of premium spirits," the agency explains.

The production of Finlandia vodka began in 1970. Currently, it occupies a leading position in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe in its category, the agency claims.
