ABC.AZ reports that Elon Musk recently announced that in the near future, social network Twitter, which belongs to him, will introduce a new way of monetizing materials. Verified content authors will be paid for advertising in their responses - at the first stage, about $5 million has been allocated for these purposes.
Musk stressed that speech is about the owners of verified accounts and the system will count impressions only to verified users.
It is possible that the innovation is connected with the arrival of the new head of Twitter, Linda Yaccarino, who has extensive experience in organizing the advertising business at NBCUniversal, where she previously worked in senior positions.
