May 22, Fineko/abc.az. The average selling price of natural gas in Europe and the U.S. has been announced.
ABC.AZ reports that the corresponding analysis was carried out by the World Bank (WB).
According to WB report forecast on commodity prices for Q1 of 2023, the price of gas in Europe will be $16.84 per 1 million BTU ($15.79, or 48.4% less versus Q1 of 2022.
The report notes that the average price of natural gas in the U.S. was $2.65 per 1 million BTU in the 1st quarter of 2023, which is $1.97, or 42.6% less than a year ago.
