May 15, Fineko/abc.az. The economic growth in Georgia made up 7.2% in the first quarter of 2023, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the National Statistics Service of Georgia.

According to the report, in March 2023, GDP grew by 7.2% against March of the previous year. This was facilitated by the growth of such industries as construction, financial and insurance activities, transport and warehousing, and trade.

The downward trend in value added is observed in the manufacturing, energy and real estate sectors.

Georgia's GDP in 2022 observed growth of 10.1%.
