May 15, Fineko/abc.az. As of May 1, 2023, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan reached 732,200.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service that the number of active taxpayers increased by 2.9% compared with the beginning of 2023.

Over Jan-Apr 2023, the number of active VAT-payers grew by 5.1%, to 42,000.

The number of active objects (economic entities) increased by 2.1% against the beginning of the year and reached 193,200.
