April 13, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization (AZSTAND), subordinate to the State Service for Antimonopoly Control & Consumer Market Supervision (under the Ministry of Economy), has adopted state standard AZS 928:2023 "Requirements for the organization (planning) & supply of food facilities".

ABC.AZ was informed at AZSTAND that the state standard establishes criteria for the placement, organization (planning) and supply of new catering facilities.

The standard applies to construction facilities (buildings) operated by catering enterprises, retailers and small food producers. The new standard was approved by the Institute and included in the State Fund of Normative Documents on Standardization.
