April 5, Fineko/abc.az. Mining company Marathon Digital, which ranks second on the planet in terms of the volume of stored bitcoins, has set a record for the production of this cryptocurrency.

ABC.AZ reports that the company increased bitcoin production by 41% compared to the previous quarter, to 2,195 BTC. In March, 825 bitcoins were produced. This is 21% more than in the previous month.

For entire 2022, Marathon Digital was able to produce 4,144 bitcoins.

Marathon Digital’s executive director said that in the 1st quarter of the year the company increased its operating hashrate by 64%.
